How To Integrate Your Usp To Your Existing Business

Integrating USP to your existing business process is critical to your business success. Given that you have a state of the art, invaluable USP in your business, if it is inside your brain only, it is completely useless. Your customers should know the reason why they should buy from you but not other people, therefore it is required to expose to your target prospects that reason to buy from you. And this is the process of integrating USP to your business. In other words, if you want to make money without spending additional advertising cost, you are strongly suggested to integrate your USP to your business process.

In order to do that, it is assumed that you have already had the USP ready. And here is the steps of promoting your USP.

1. Get more prospects using USP: In your existing advertisement channel like Yellow pages, PPC, banner ads or facebook ads, put your USP in the advertisment. Rather than doing “putting your name out there” advertisment, give a reason to customer on why should they buy from you. You can say something like: “Providing the most variety of jewelry collection in town”, “Guarantee satisfied hair cut in 15 mins for only $7.”.

2. Train your sales people: you can ask your sales people what is your company’s USP and listen to their answer. Their answers may surprise you! Usually the top sales in the company got the USP right (it is also the reason why he/she is top sales!). Therefore you can optimize your sales force by telling them to sell your company products and service with your USP. Given the USP is in every sales pitch presented from your sales, you may easily get 5% – 10% increase in sales by converting more prospects to customer.

By the way, to make sure that your sales are doing the work, setting up tracking and rewarding program to see improvements before and after applying USP.

3. Get your existing customer to buy more from you: Packaging your existing products and services to make it unique across the industry is another way to generate more sales. While you create that packages, it is another USP of you and you simply up-sell them to this package. Provided that your offer is valuable enough according to your customer’s perspective, you will get more sales from existing customers.

4. Referral: If you are doing a good job in integrating USP, you can go one step further by providing another bonus or value added service to your existing customers if they get 3 people to join your list. Since you are providing value to your customer, they will be happy to promote you in return, and you will get viral effect for your business, simply by creating and integrating your USP!

To conclude, you need to put your USP out of your brain and have it in everywhere of your business. Both your advertisment and your sales people should know your USP is and presenting them clearly. Integrating USP can increase your conversion rate of your business and hence get more sales and make more money from it.

Supporting Sap Business One If Your Implementation Failed – What To Do Next

This small article is written with the international focus. SAP B1 was initially targeted to small businesses, however its reasonably rich Corporate ERP functionality dictates mid-market user license cost (especially for SB1 professional user, where license is close to k$3 in USA). There is large number of Certified SAP BO consultants on the Corporate ERP consulting market, however in our opinion SAP B1 requires closer attention to such technologies as Crystal Report, SB1 SDK (Microsoft Visual Studio ecommerce programming in C# and VB.Net), SAP Business One Data Transfer Workbench (where you do initial SB1 data conversion from your legacy system, such as MYOB, Peach Tree, Quick Books, Accpac, Great Plains Accounting for DOS, Windows and Macintosh). We do not pretend to be ultimate authority for SAP Business One implementation recovery, however we did the service for numerous companies in the USA, Canada, Brazil, Russia, China. OK, below is our article:

1.Corporate ERP localization dilemma. Typically your problems are related to language translation and the compliance to the local country tax and corporate reporting legislation. SB1 is localized and certified in most of the Globe (probably excluding Arabic alphabet countries). SAP Business One supports Unicode (Chinese, Japanese, Korean). SAP certifies its SB1 application with local tax and government authorities in the countries, where SAP Business One is localized. New SAP Business One version 8.8 is now available on the same flavor for all the countries (while 2007 and 2005 versions were available in A and B flavors, and you had to implement them on different SQL Servers with different code page and language collation). For SB1 8.8 you can deploy SAP Business One system for all your international companies, where SB1 is localized: China, Russia, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Brazil, India, France, UK, etc.

2.SAP B1 implementation recovery service. We saw numerous implementation screw-ups when your company requires challenging technology integrations: ecommerce, barcode scanning and integration, EDI, customizations, Crystal Reporting, deep data conversions from your legacy accounting package to SAP B1. And you have to be tolerant to the consulting industry practices: your generic certified SAP Business One consultant should be good in Corporate ERP presentation, user licenses sale, CPA type of the implementation with reasonable onsite user training, simple initial data conversion (via SB1 Data Transfer Workbench, where you should help your consultant to prepare CSV files, based on DTW CSV templates)

3.SAP Business One Data Conversion Puzzle. Typically here you have the problem with your current SAP Business One Reseller, who has no experience in industry specific data massage and migration from your legacy accounting or Corporate ERP to SAP Business One

4.Do I have to switch out to another SB1 Partner? Yes, this is what you have to do or what is sort of recommended. Your SAP B1 Partner has access to your company record in SAP Portal and it allows your chosen partner to broke for your and sell you new software licenses

Business Soft Skills In High Schools

For a long time the business world has been asking colleges, trade schools and universities for graduates that are well versed in soft skills. As time goes by the K-12 educational institutions are now realizing that they need to start soft skills training way before college.

In a recent article by Amy Myska (see at following website (http://www.thenorthwestern.com/story/money/companies/state-of-opportunity/2014/11/28/qa-advice-middle-high-school-students/19639851/) suggests that high schoolers can improve their career potential by learning soft skills early. -We have seen a growing demand from Wisconsin employers asking for help in finding job candidates that have professional “soft skills” to effectively work with both customers as well as their workers in a work environment,- she stated. -It is also important to stress the importance of education at all ages. Many students have a belief that school “doesn’t really count until high school. “However, it’s the grade levels prior to high school that set the foundation for learning not only skills but also behavior. Making education a priority also sets the stage for positive work behaviors for their future- she added.

A study by Dan Jones & Associates Poll For The State Of Utah stated also suggests more opportunities for businesses professionals to teach in schools, as well as internship opportunities for student. (http://www.deseretnews.com/article/865617538/Utah-students-grossly-unprepared-for-workforce-study-says.html)

In an article by Tisha Green Rinker titled -Why Developing Soft Skills during High School Matters- (http://www.connectionsacademy.com/blog/posts/2014-12-01/Why-Developing-Soft-Skills-during-High-School-Matters.aspx) she does an excellent job explaining a few simple soft skills activities for high school students. Here they are: * Volunteer as a tutor or mentor. As the saying goes, -To teach is to learn twice.- When you teach others, you’re constantly learning new things and new ways to learn. * Identify a specific new skill to learn and the steps required to learn it. Whether you want to learn to play a guitar or master a programming language, teaching yourself new skills builds your confidence and the habits of independent learning. * Attend free public events at local colleges, museums, libraries, or music academies. Be intentional in your television viewing and web surfing, -curating” your content to expand your worldview or dig deeper into subjects that interest you. * Read, read, read.

Businesses and schools are now realizing that basic soft skills can be taught and understood by K-12 students. Life College located in Tustin, California has been successfully teaching Job Readiness to young adults with intellectual disabilities including, but not limited to, Autism, Fragile X, Brain Injury, and other Developmentally Delayed Learners. The 2-year program prepares students to find employment and teaches them self-advocacy and conflict resolution in their daily lives. The program at the school gives the students the confidence to perform everything from personal planning to money management.

Once soft skills are taught to K-12 students it will create a foundation for students who will eventually be in the workplace, whether they go to college or not.

Lenders To Avoid – Business Loan And Commercial Mortgage

I have published many articles which are designed to assist commercial borrowers in avoiding commercial loan problems. One of the most serious commercial mortgage business loan situations is a commercial lender that causes problems for their commercial borrowers on a recurring basis. It is particularly this type of commercial lender which prudent commercial borrowers should be prepared to avoid unless viable alternative business financing options do not realistically exist.

As a direct result of my commercial loan experiences advising business owners for over 25 years and regular conversations with other business financing professionals, I do in fact believe that there are a number of commercial lenders that should be avoided. This conclusion is based on a recurring pattern of lending abuses by some business lenders.

This article will not name specific lenders to avoid, but specific examples will be provided to show why informed commercial borrowers should be ready to avoid a variety of business lenders in their search for viable commercial loan solutions. This business financing strategy article will illustrate the significant benefits of avoiding “problem lenders”.

Meaningless Pre-approvals for a Commercial Mortgage Business Loan

An early commercial mortgage pre-approval is often sought by commercial borrowers. The expected advantage to this initial commercial loan approval is that the business borrower can make other business arrangements which are based on the business financing being completed.

An ethical commercial lender will treat any form of business financing approval very seriously. Commercial borrowers should expect that a meaningful version of such an approval will not be realistically possible in just two or three days.

However, there are lenders who prepare a misleading and questionable version of a pre-approval shortly after receiving minimal application data. Because this approach often produces surprises for the borrower as the commercial mortgage process moves forward, borrowers should be wary of any lenders that do this.

Why do some commercial lenders provide such meaningless pre-approvals for a commercial mortgage? There are two likely reasons. (1) To motivate the commercial borrower to stop considering other potential commercial lenders. (2) To provide a business loan pre-approval that is similar to a structure prevalent with residential loans.

Because many commercial loan situations are facilitated by residential mortgage brokers who are typically unfamiliar with normal business financing requirements, this reason will be especially relevant with business lenders that primarily work with residential mortgage brokerage firms. Such a lender should be avoided for most commercial mortgage circumstances.

Commercial Mortgage Loan – Yes or No?

I have published an article which discusses the tendency of many banks to say “yes” when they mean “no”. Such banks will typically attach onerous business financing conditions to commercial loans instead of simply declining the loan. Business owners should explore other commercial mortgage alternatives before accepting commercial financing terms that put them at a competitive disadvantage.

Think Outside the Bank for a Commercial Mortgage

In some non-competitive business markets, it is unfortunately common for a lender to employ business loan terms that would typically not be seen in a more competitive commercial loan environment. Such business lenders can repeatedly take advantage of a non-competitive commercial lending imbalance.

An appropriate response by commercial borrowers is to seek out non-bank commercial loan options. It is neither necessary nor wise for commercial borrowers to depend only upon local traditional banks for commercial mortgage solutions. For most business loan situations, a non-local and non-bank commercial lender is likely to provide improved business financing terms because they are accustomed to competing aggressively with other commercial lenders.

Commercial Property Commercial Loan Appraisals

For commercial mortgage loans, commercial appraisals are an unavoidable part of the commercial loan underwriting process. The commercial appraisal process is lengthy and expensive, so avoiding commercial lenders which have displayed a pattern of problems and abuses in this area will benefit the commercial borrower by saving them both time and money.
